The Icelantic Keeper Skis are a big-mountain slayer, adept in all-mountain performance, as well. It’s beefy underfoot, sure, but traditional camber keeps you rockin’ on the hardpack, while an early rise tip and tail go to work when the white stuff flies. Testers were impressed by its responsiveness: you can shut ’er down on a dime if need be. Its poplar core provides a good bit of play, too. “Awesome all-around ski for how big it is,” said one tester. “It crushed crud, pillow lines, bumps and pow.” Travis Parr’s totem mask graphic also gives subtle praise to Whistler, BC.
