Nordica’s new Girish is a some- what directional,
early-rise ski meant for the big boys. Its early rise in the tip and generous 110 mm underfoot will get you floating in the pow in no time. Being directional might hinder your switch tricks in the backcountry, but who are we kidding? We’re not Rory Bushfield. What the directional shape will do is allow you to shred at high speeds without having a blowout. “It’s a great ski for the ex- racer,” says one tester. “Took me for a ride and was good enough to bring me to tears,” he added.
