Part of Dynastar’s High Mountain series, this five-dimensional ski features a lightweight, paulownia wood core, with full vertical sidewalls and a flat tail, for skiers who don’t like to sacrifice performance for weight. The ski derives a lot of its float from a bit of tip rocker, which also keeps any unwanted tip hooking out of the equation. Testers enjoyed the ski most when off piste, and many felt it’d be a great skinning option. “Great touring ski for all conditions … from midwinter pow to springtime corn,” said another tester.
