After losing its metal components for 2013-14, this iteration of Blizzard’s Dakota was a big hit with testers. While the ski is a bit more forgiving sans metal, it’s still a beefy stick that touts a 27 m turn radius (@177) and is built for ladies who spend their days charging off piste. “The Dakota is a super tough, badass plank,” said one tester about the ski. “Extremely stable and very fun at high speeds.” Despite these characteristics, rocker in the tip and tail combined with flat camber underfoot provide a playful tone for those who step up to the plate.
